Most recently Random Task has worked with Texas Pete, Lowes Foods, the National Cycling Championships, and The Burke Street Food Truck Festival to produce events and provide their customers with unique experiences.
Our management team is also affiliated with opening or managing several bricks-and-mortar projects; including Foothills Brewing, Silver Moon Saloon, Single Brothers Craft Cocktails, Flatiron on Main (Davidson, NC), and Hoots Beer Co.

Brian Cole is the Managing Partner of The Cole Group, a management group specializing in special event and hospitality services.
Through The Cole Group, Brian serves as the Director of Random Task Management, an event management company whose clients include Live Nation, Gears & Guitars, and Vagabond Saints’ Society. Past clients include Texas Pete, Lowe’s Foods, Phuzz Phest, and the Burke Street Food Truck Festival.
Brian is the majority shareholder of the Silver Moon Saloon, America’s #1 Dive Bar, as well as a partner in Hoots Beer Co. His previous positions include the following: Creator and Director of Winston-Salem Events (Music In the Streets), Founder/Shareholder/President & General Manager of Foothills Brewing and Director of Operations at SFW Results.
Although Brian was born in New York, he was raised in Greenville, SC, and calls the beautiful city his home. He is a graduate of Davidson College and the proud father of Haddie, Conor and Emilia.

Julien has managed her family-owned business for over 14 years and her experience as an operational manager has helped fine-tune the Random Task Management operation on a daily basis. She enjoys serving as a communication link between vendors, sponsors, and clients to ensure quality and deadlines are met. When she isn’t managing events or running her photo booth rental company, It’s A Photo Booth Life, she can be found hiking, planning her next book club event, or volunteering as a Board Member for Twin City Santa 501c3.
James Douglas has been in the industry for roughly twenty years. His specialties are management, logistics, and he is currently a fixer for a variety of jobs inside and outside of the industry.
A “Jack of All Trades,” James has traveled as far as Antarctica, operated as a wilderness and hunting guide in Wyoming, and is a published columnist who is working on his first book. He still works as a bartender when he’s not on the road.
